3. Environment: I will ask for locations that are meaningful to you or your family. This adds context and depth to the photos.
4. Movement: I Incorporate movement into your shots. Whether it’s a child running or a family playing, capturing action conveys energy and joy.
5. Storytelling: I ask you to think about the story you want to tell with your photos. Each photo can contribute to a larger narrative about your family or individual.
6. Details: I also incorporate the little details—close-ups of hands, feet, or cherished possessions can add a personal touch to your photos.
7. Connection: I encourage your family to interact with each other. Genuine smiles and laughter make for the best photographs.

One of my favorite things to do is seeing my memories pop up on my phone every day. Seeing all those pictures of my kids growing up over the years really warms my heart. One thing time and life seems to do is make my mind get a little foggy on my memories. So it is always a pleasant reminder when a picture pops up from somewhere we went or something we did and then I can recall that day again like I just lived it.

I remember being pregnant for the first time with my first baby! Oh my, what exciting times! I mean I was terribly sick, but that was nothing compared to the excitement of getting the nursery ready for my baby! The exhilaration of finding out what I was having, going through names choosing the perfect one! What were they going to be like? What did they look like in the womb right now? And then finally you meet them! Nothing prepares you for how much you love this person you just met! I've had 2 more babies since and the excitement in each pregnancy is just as exciting as the first!
